Our moving process is easy to understand. Once you register on our website and submit some basic information like your moving date and size of the move, address our representatives, Tony or Alex! They will get in touch with you and ask for your inventory. You can upload it to the portal. We will provide you with an estimate via FaceTime or on-site, whichever is more convenient for you. Packing
Packing is a complicated process, but it is easy if you hire us. We will deliver boxes to you, or you can pack them yourself. We will also deliver plastic crates, and you can pack them. We only charge $5 per week per crate, but if you want, we can also deliver cardboard boxes. However, we prefer to reduce our footprint on our planet, so we use our plastic crates. We can also provide you with partial packing and packing kitchens. With two professional movers, it will only take 2-3 hours to pack. Our rates are $140 per hour for two professional movers and $90 per hour for three professional packers and movers. If you want a full packing service for a one-bedroom apartment, we can probably do the entire packing in one day and load in two or three hours. We will come before your move and do packing in advance. Which option would you like to choose? There are three options: self-packing, kitchen packing, or packing. We always carry our tools and can bring as many supplies as you need.
Furniture packing
All furniture will be packed by our professional movers. You don’t need to disassemble your pictures, TVs, and large, heavy furniture yourself. Our moving company from New York to Miami will do this job for you. The only thing you have to do is let us know what you are taking and what is in the trash. Your furniture will be professionally packed by our movers with shrink tape and blankets. You don’t have to pack any pictures or anything else. We will bring picture boxes and wardrobe boxes for storing your clothes and pictures.
On the moving date
Please expect us to show up around 8 a.m., so reserve a loading dock for your move. Only the best moving companies will call you 30 minutes before their arrival. Once they arrive, they will send you either a text message or call you. Please show us which stuff should be packed and transported and which stuff should be left. After all these explanations and further information, they will bring the boxes to the truck. Then, they will disassemble your bed, wrap it and all the furniture pieces in blankets, and then they will move everything to the truck. Payment
Once loading is complete, you will need to pay 50% of the flat rate for your move from New York to Miami. You have a chance to pay with a credit card (there is a 3% processing fee), a certified check, or cash. If you prefer to use a certified check, please prepare the check and split it into 50% for the pick-up and 50% for the delivery. You can give the check or credit card to the foreman. At the delivery date
Once our moving company from New York to Miami is driving, you can keep an update in your portal, and you can see where the truck and at which location. When the movers are close to your place, like an hour away, they will call you and let you know the approximate arrival time. Your foreman will call you a second time once they are at your house or apartment. You can let them in. Tell them where the stuff is going and where the boxes are going. Movers will assemble the furniture, unwrap the furniture, rearrange it the way you want it, and bring the boxes to the designated room. We will use labels on the boxes to move them, or you can show them the direction at the door where the boxes are going to pick up the trash, and you have to just inspect the damage or any scratches. If there is no damage, you need to pay your New York to Miami moving company. The remaining balance is what you need to pay. If there’s damage to your furniture, please submit a claim to our claim department.
Do you need to store your stuff?

We can either store your belongings in New York or Miami, but our storage place in the Miami area is less expensive. So, if you need some location to keep your stuff and can’t find the place, you can take advantage of our moving and storage option. Born To Move provides you with a solution that fits your budget. We charge a weekly fee if needed. Other moving companies charge only a monthly fee. Please let us know in advance before you move that you would like to use our storage facility. This is a separate service, and, therefore, we charge separately for the time it takes to pick up, drive, and store your stuff.
COI (certificate of insurance)
If you need a certificate of insurance, please take care of it in advance. Our moving company will provide you with a COI that meets all the requirements for a certificate of insurance. Request your COI in advance from our moving company in New York City, at least 2 business days before your move. In this case, we can certainly make sure to produce it on time.
