The truck will be 20-foot or 26-foot, based on the list of items you provide to us on the phone. Send us the uploaded inventory on your account on our website. An accurate list of items is crucial because, without it, we cannot provide a precise flat rate for your move. So, please make sure to get as close as possible to the actual inventory.
Moving process
The moving process is the easy part. When the movers arrive, we ask customers to pack all the boxes before the move. We will take the boxes, put them on the truck, and wrap the furniture with moving blankets. After we load everything, we will schedule the delivery. The delivery will be based on your preference, and the arrival time will be agreed upon. The same movers who picked up your items will drive to the destination and unload. At the unloading site, they will bring the boxes into the rooms you specify and arrange the furniture as desired. All you have to do is make a payment.
Payment option
Born To Move accepts credit cards (subject to a 3% processing fee), certified checks, or cash. You can pay 50% at the pickup after the movers load the truck and 50% after we unload the truck.
Damages
In most cases, damages are rare when using a professional moving company from Miami to Pittsburgh. However, if this happens, you can request a quote from our moving representative to fix your items or replace them with new ones. You will have to submit the claim at the bottom of the page if you would like to do so.
Full packing or partial packing
Packing is an option when using our moving company. We provide full packing solutions. For full packing, our movers will come the day before, and that will be an additional hourly rate on top of the flat rate that you receive from us. Full packing is an additional hourly rate of $140 or $190 per hour for two or three professional packers and movers, who will be able to pack your kitchen or your entire house. Just let the Born To Move representative know if you would like to use our full packing option, self-packing option, or if you need just the kitchen packed. This can be done on the day of loading. We can use your packing supplies or bring our own. Just let us know approximately how many boxes you need before your moving date.
