Movers from Chicago to Florida
Florida is a sunny state that attracts a lot of customers who are moving from Chicago to Florida. We move to cities across the entire state, such as Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, and, of course, beautiful Miami. If you are considering one of these destinations, you should consider hiring Born to Move, one of the cheapest moving companies that can deliver your belongings swiftly and on time, meeting all of your moving needs.
Storage
Born to Move provides storage solutions just for you when you pick a moving company to deliver your belongings to Florida. Do you need to store your belongings for a few days because you haven’t purchased a new house or are still selling and have to move out? We offer comprehensive moving storage that is super flexible. If you decide to move to Florida from Chicago, we can store your belongings in Chicago or in any city in Florida. By calling our moving representative, we will be able to create a plan that works for you. Born To Move charges weekly for storage, so you don’t have to pay for another month if you decide to go with our company. You can also access your belongings at any time, whether in Florida or Chicago.
How the Process Works
Once you decide that you want to move to Florida from Chicago but have not found a place yet, we are still able to help you. All you have to do is give us a call. It will be either me, Alex, or Toni on the phone, and we will be able to provide you with a cheap flat rate for moving to Florida. All you need to do is provide us with a list of items from your old house, delivery times, and if you need packing or unpacking. After that, our moving coordinator will be able to provide you with a free, no-obligation quote for your move to Florida. Most movers to Florida will deliver your belongings within a week or two, but Born To Move is not your average moving company. We provide white-glove moving services by wrapping up your belongings and driving straight to Florida from Chicago; we don’t stop on the way, and we don’t pick up any other possessions going in the same direction.
Unpacking and packing
Unpacking and packing is a luxury service available to all customers who decide to hire Born to Move, especially for long-distance moves to Florida. If you decide to purchase one of the services, we can bring plastic crates and then take them back once we pack your belongings in Florida. We will drop them off a week before, so you will have plenty of time to pack, and we can unpack them together at the new location. We might as well do full-service packing and unpacking, which will add an additional rate on top of the flat rate if you decide to get packing services for moving to Florida.
What’s the Turnaround for My Belongings?
Born to Move also provides two-day delivery from Chicago to any city in Florida. Delivery will only take two business days. One day will be for packing. We need two days to get to Florida, and on the fourth day, we will be unpacking and delivering your belongings as a full-service moving company from Chicago to Florida. We will pack your belongings, drive, never hire third-party services, and then unload with the same movers at the pickup and delivery locations.
How does payment work?
Most moving companies from Chicago to Florida accept all forms of payment, and Born To Move will accept credit cards (3% processing fee), certified checks (no fee), or cash (no fee). Born To Move collects 50% at the pickup once we’re done with loading and 50% at the destination in Florida after we unload your belongings.
Regulations for Movers
Most moving companies follow all the regulations along the way to Florida, and Born to Move is no exception. Only the best moving companies from Chicago to Florida will use electronic logbooks and GPS. You can see where the truck is at any given moment, whether on the highway or at a rest area. You might as well call your foreman; he can give you an update on when your belongings will be delivered.
Insurance and Licenses
All moving companies performing interstate moves to Florida must provide insurance to their customers, which is basic insurance covering $.60 per pound if something is destroyed or damaged during your move to Florida. This moving company has to compensate you for any inconvenience or broken items, which will be 6 cents per pound, but Born To Move goes the extra mile for you. That’s why we offer full replacement value insurance at an additional cost. If you would like to sign up, please contact our representative, Terry Cappuccio, and she will be able to find the best moving insurance for your needs.
How to Pack My Stuff for This Move to Florida?
We advise you to pack into smaller boxes and pack all the fragile items with packing paper. Put pictures in a picture box with paper, and label all of the boxes with “fragile” or “kitchen stuff.” Make sure to take all of your personal belongings with you, such as electronics, computers, and all the vital items that you need. Do not put them in a box and hand them over to the movers. There have been many times when customers couldn’t find a box they needed for a few days, called the movers, and also didn’t know where the box was. Then, a few days later, you might find it. Take all your vital possessions with you; do not give them to the movers.
